We can solve PPA time staffing & teacher CPD and offer a specialist solution to your curriculum needs as an targeted alternative to supply teachers.
There is no need for teaching assistants as all of our coaches are experienced working with a class from the start of lessons until it finishes.
We deliver high quality Physical Education across the National Curriculum over a wide variety of sports. Our lessons are planned in consultation with yourselves to deliver the highest quality education.
We also deliver extra-curricular After School Clubs and training for school teams at no extra cost to the school.
We coach a range of sports including:
Football: KS1 involves basic skills such as passing, dribbling and shooting as well as invasion and fun games whilst KS2 pupils develop these skills and learn tactics for attacking and defending goals
Rugby: The very basic skills such as passing and running with the ball are taught, progressing to tag rugby and simple invasion games, suitable for KS1 & KS2 pupils.
Cricket: Pupils will be taught the basic rules of Kwik cricket in KS1. KS2 pupils will play more tactically based modified games of Kwik cricket, progressing to Inter cricket.
Athletics: Covers all aspects of track and field, throwing, running and team games.
Basketball: KS1 pupils will learn basic skills such as throwing and running with the ball, as well as playing fun games and learning basic rules. In KS2 pupils will learn more advanced tactics and play invasion games.
Hockey: Incorporating basic dribbling and shooting skills as well as invasion games in KS1. More advanced tactics in KS2. Pupils may also get the chance to officiate games.
Tennis: This covers all aspects of the game, from serves to volleys. In KS2 pupils are expected to try overarm serves and play a more tactical game.
Multi Skills: More suitable for KS1 pupils which include a multitude of activities to improve balance, hand/eye co-ordination, foot/eye co-ordination and simple fun obstacle courses.
Gymnastics: pupils will be taught basic rolls as well as a forward and backward rolls, handstands, headstands, cartwheels, balancing and may progress to using the vault.
Netball: High 5 netball teaches primary age children the basics of the game and allows them to try playing in all positions whilst incorporating ball handling and position skills.
